Nathan Small has been a great city councilor for the people in our district. From
fighting for our local neighborhoods to careful stewardship of our city's finances,
Nathan has been a strong advocate for shared decision-making, public safety and
a balanced approach to growth.
Fighting for Existing Neighborhoods
- Major progress on El Molino Flood Control Project,
Valley Drive reconstruction, Burn Lake master plan
implementation, Amador Avenue and South Main
Street reconstruction, Sewage Plant upgrades and
odor reduction
- Nearly quadrupled Road Maintenance Budget from
2007 to 2011
- Curbside recycling
- Reasonable impact fees on new development to
cover required infrastructure

Careful Financial Stewardship
and Strong Economic Development
- Twice the state-required reserve in the city

- City budget reduced by $3.5 million in FY 2009-10
